چکیده

Abstract This study determines the associations among serum lipid profiles, risk of cardiovascular disease, and persistent organic pollutants. Using Gas chromatography technique, intensity toxic pollutant residues in samples Hypertensive patients were measured. Based on statistical analysis, effects different covariates namely pesticides, age, systolic blood pressure, diastolic profile duration was checked using logistic regression model. Statistical computation performed SPSS 22.0. The P-values F-Statistic for each class are greater than 0.01 (1%), therefore we cannot reject null hypothesis all cases. estimated coefficients, their standard errors, Wald Statistic, odds ratio binary model parameters indicate if pesticides increase then logit value changes from -0.46 to -0.246 except LDL which increases by 0.135. reports a significantly increased threat disease with concentrations

Persistent organic pollutants distribution in lipoprotein fractions in relation to cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are lipophilic environmental toxins that have been associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the concentrations of POPs in human high and low/very low-density lipoproteins (HDL and LDL/VLDL) and the possible association with CVD and cancer occurrence in individuals living in a contaminated area. Lipopro...

Persistent Organic Pollutants ("POPs")

Strictly speaking, all toxins entering the environment can be regarded as environmental poisons. Certain pollutants can, acting over long periods, harm living organisms even in low concentrations. This means that pollutants that are stable and thus persistent have a great ability to act as environmental poisons. Their stability means not only that their effects are long-lasting, but also that t...

Serum Persistent Organic Pollutants

Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are manmade organic chemicals that remain in the environment for years or decades. POPs are of special concern because they often remain toxic for decades or longer after release to the environment. The more persistent a toxic chemical is, the greater the probability for human exposure over time. Because they circulate globally long after being released into...

Chapter 8 Persistent Organic Pollutants

The rapid growth in chemical and agrochemical industries during the last century have resulted in the environmental releases of a large number of new chemical compounds into the environment. According to the OECD, the daily use of chemicals includes about 70,000 mainly organic synthetic chemicals, and the number increases continuously (Schwarzenbach et al. 1993). Over the last decades, there ha...

Persistent organic pollutants in food supplies.

Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in various food supplies have important health impacts, but are not as devastating as malnutrition and, perhaps, obesity. POPs should be controlled and the Stockholm Convention is having an accelerating effect on the global decline of POP manufacture and use. Reservoirs from previous misuses are much larger than current manufacture and efforts should be dire...
